TRANSGAS PROPOSES TO BUILD PIPELINE EXPANSION AROUND CITY OF REGINA
TransGas Limited (TransGas), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SaskEnergy Incorporated, is proposing to build an approximately 85 kilometre natural gas transmission pipeline expansion around the City of Regina.
The proposed two-phase project is necessary to accommodate future residential, commercial and industrial growth in Regina and the surrounding areas. The pipeline would begin at an existing point on the TransGas system near the community of Rowatt, continue northwest around Regina, and then return south to connect to the TransGas system east of Regina near Highway 33 as shown below. The Rural Municipalities in the project area include: RM of Sherwood (No. 159) and the RM of Edenwold (No. 158).
Keeping our stakeholders informed is an important aspect of all of our major projects. We have an investment in Saskatchewan, and believe very strongly in working together with communities and stakeholders when projects such as this are planned.
If you have any questions about the proposed project, please contact TransGas at 1-844-295-9517, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to engaging with stakeholders on this project.
