NIT-to-TEP

TransGas is notifying shippers of potential curtailments to firm contracted NIT to TEP Service due to upcoming outages on interconnecting pipelines and TransGas planned maintenance. TransGas is working closely with the associated pipelines regarding timing and volumes impacted. During these periods, TransGas will attempt to coordinate system outages to avoid future outages and curtailments. If any Interruptible NIT to TEP flow is available, it will be offered through the regular process. 

There has been an update since the last notice sent on June 13, 2022. The updates are shown in italics/bold below.

Potential Curtailment:
Gas Days July 7, 2022 – July 27, 2022 TC Energy Curtailments

TC Energy will be performing maintenance near the Cold Lake border point. Based on current analysis and risks, NIT to TEP Service may be curtailed to a percent of the firm contracted capacity, however at this time no impacts to firm contracted capacities are anticipated. Note that this curtailment estimate is subject to change.

UPDATE: It has been confirmed that there will be no firm curtailment on July 7 for the July 7-27 NGTL outage. TGL will continue to assess this for July 8-27th and keep customers updated with changes.

Gas Days August 20, 2022 – September 4, 2022 TransGas Curtailment 

TransGas will be performing maintenance near the Crane Lake border point. Based on current analysis and risks, NIT to TEP Service may be curtailed to a percent of the firm contracted capacity, however at this time no impacts to firm contracted capacities are anticipated. Note that this curtailment estimate is subject to change.
