Open Season Request Window Closes June 16, 2022, 4:00 p.m.
TransGas Limited (TransGas) hereby announces a Non-Binding Open Season for Yorkton Area Saskatchewan Delivery Service. TransGas is anticipating existing transmission Delivery Service capacity to be fully contracted by November 1, 2023 in the Yorkton Area as shown on the TransGas map in Appendix A. A list of active TransGas meters in the Open Season area can also be found in Appendix A.
This Non-Binding Open Season is being offered to obtain updated information from both existing and potential future customers for Delivery Service with focus in the Open Season area. By understanding demand for long term capacity, TransGas is better able to plan and build infrastructure to meet Customer requirements.
Please note TransGas will not be processing any Requests for Service (RFS) for incremental Firm capacity within the Open Season Area (Appendix A) until after the Non-Binding Open Season has closed. Available short-term, non-renewable Firm capacity after the close of the Non-Binding Open Season will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until otherwise stated.
This offer is being conducted pursuant to the terms and conditions contained within the TransGas Tariff and the terms and conditions set out herein. In the event of a conflict between this Non-Binding Open Season offering and the TransGas Tariff, the provisions of this Non-Binding Open Season offering shall prevail.

TransGas will acknowledge the successful receipt of your Request Form - Firm Delivery Service Re: Non-Binding Open Season Letter of May 31, 2022.
Following the close of the Open Season, TransGas will review the received request forms and will assess the feasibility of a facility expansion as well as the timelines required to install the system expansion and/or customer specific facilities.
In addition, TransGas will assess and determine if additional customer specific facilities will be required to meet Customers’ needs. TransGas intends to respond to Customers with high level customer specific cost estimates in the form of a Preliminary Project Screening (PPS) if applicable by July 22, 2022.

If there is significant interest in incremental demand for natural gas, such that a system expansion would be required to provide additional gas volumes to the Yorkton area, TransGas reserves the right to follow up with a Binding Open Season. Only Customer responses to a future Binding Open Season (i.e. Future-dated Firm Demand Transportation Contracts) will be used to underpin any future system expansions in the area. If applicable, PPS provided pursuant to the Non-Binding Open Season will provide Customers with an estimate of the facility costs required to meet their desired capacity requests, thereby enabling more informed submissions to a future Binding Open Season.
