March 29, 2023 - 2023 Seasonal Biddable Firm Injection Service Offering

Bid Window Closes April 14, 2023, 4:00 p.m. Saskatchewan Time

TransGas Limited (TransGas) hereby offers Seasonal Biddable Firm Injection Service for the period of May 1 - October 31, 2023. This offer is being conducted pursuant to the terms and conditions contained within the TransGas Comprehensive Tariff and the terms and conditions set out herein.

The available Injection Capacity can be bid on by Customers, with a minimum bid of $0.08/GJ per day of Injection rights; this minimum bid amount represents the incremental cost for TransGas to provide this Service. Bids for Injection rights must be in full calendar month increments. Bids must have a minimum term of one calendar month and a maximum term of six calendar months. 

TransGas will allocate the available Injection Capacity based on the highest bid revenue. In awarding the Service, if two or more bids are of equal value but Capacity does not exist to fill all equal bids, the available Capacity will be prorated among the equal bids. Bidders will not be obligated to accept a quantity less than their bid quantity. If a Customer does not accept a lower, prorated quantity, this quantity would be made available to other bidders.

The available 2023 Seasonal Biddable Firm Injection Service Capacity by month is as follows:

*** TransGas currently has planned maintenance on Storage Facilities, which has the potential to cause a Curtailment of Customer’s Firm Injection rights to as low as 80% from August 28 - September 10, 2023; the estimated Curtailment percent is subject to change. Firm Injection rights awarded as part of the Season Biddable Firm Injection Service offering will be Curtailed in alignment with all Firm Injection rights (same priority of Service).

Interested Customers are invited to complete the Bid Form and return it to TransGas via email by 4:00 p.m. Saskatchewan time, April 14, 2023.

After the close of this Seasonal Biddable Firm Injection Service bid window, any remaining Injection Capacity may be offered to Customers through the Monthly Biddable Firm Injection Service each month.
