August 2023 Monthly Biddable Firm Injection Service Offer Letter

Bid Window Closes July 26, 2023, 4:00 p.m.

TransGas Limited (TransGas) hereby offers Monthly Biddable Firm Injection Service for the period of August 1 – 31, 2023. This offer is being conducted pursuant to the terms and conditions contained within the TransGas Tariff and the terms and conditions set out herein.

The available Injection Capacity can be bid on by Customers, with a minimum bid of $0.08/GJ per day of Injection rights; this minimum bid amount represents the incremental cost for TransGas to provide this Service. Bids for Injection rights will be for the entire Service period. 

TransGas will allocate the available Injection Capacity based on the highest bid revenue. In awarding the Service, if two or more bids are of equal value but Capacity does not exist to fill all equal bids, the available Capacity will be prorated among the equal bids. Bidders will not be obligated to accept a quantity less than their bid quantity. If a Customer does not accept a lower, prorated quantity, this quantity would be made available to other bidders.

The available August 2023 Monthly Biddable Firm Injection Service Capacity is 15,000 GJ/d. TransGas currently has planned maintenance on Storage Facilities which has the potential to cause a Curtailment of Customer’s Firm Injection rights to as low as 80% from August 28 – September 10, 2023; the estimated Curtailment percent is subject to change. Firm Injection rights awarded as part of the Monthly Biddable Firm Injection Service offering will be Curtailed in alignment with all Firm Injection rights (same priority of Service).

Interested Customers are invited to complete the Bid Form and return it to TransGas via email by 4:00 p.m. Saskatchewan time, July 26, 2023.

After the close of this Monthly Biddable Firm Injection Service bid window, remaining Injection Capacity may be available as Short-Term Firm Injection Service. Requests for Short-Term Firm Injection Service can be sent to a TransGas Key Account Manager.
