Fuel Charge Exemption

Customers whose delivery facilities are eligible for relief from the Federal Carbon Tax must complete and submit the Fuel Charge Exemption form, along with the applicable Federal Exemption Certificate, for TransGas to apply the exemption to specific customer delivery meters. Once the form has been processed, we will send a confirmation email to the applicant.

TransGas cannot apply an exemption retroactively in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act. If you have incurred carbon charges and believe you are entitled to a rebate, you must contact the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) directly.

Forms received without supporting CRA documentation cannot be processed.
